Another great product. Using it on a trip to Berlin with weather ranging from 44 to 70. In the picture I have the Aurora Raglan underneath as the day was 55 with sun, clouds, wind with a chance of rain all day. When the sun was out it was never too hot and when cloudy it kept me warm. (Walked 9 miles). The others in the group were taking a jacket on and off all day. Also with both shirts it was never too bulky. I normally would be wearing a cotton hoodie which would take a lot room in my suitcase.
I own a lot of merino and this is my favorite piece! The fit is perfect, and the pockets placed so they're deep - nothing falls out. It's perfect for layering; not too bulky. I've used it biking, hiking, camping and it still looks great to wear into town for dinner. No odor, either! Super soft and light enough to double as sun protection. I'm only sad when it goes in the laundry, which is rarely because it just keeps on looking (and smelling) great.
I have 6+ Merino pieces from various outdoor and hunting brands (I'm a male user of Chill Angel for what it's worth) and this hoody is absolutely my favorite merino piece I own. I have Smartwool, First Lite (hunting), and more. Those are all awesome of course, but this one just fits incredibly well, the paneling and shape is perfect. I lived in this for 5+ days on a trip to Southern Oregon in November. It was cold, rainy, sunny, etc. I basically did everything except sleep in it. As always, merino doesn't smell, day after day, feels and looks fresh, was priceless for a warm layer while wicking during activity. Absolutely perfect.
What a great addition to the Chill Angel line. I have always been a hoodie aficionado, and am thrilled to own one in my favorite merino wool! It will be the perfect thing to reach for when the temperature starts to dip and I want a layer of coziness and comfort.
Love love love the new Chill Angel Hoodie! I just received the new hoodie and have worn it every day since. The buttery fabric is so soft and cozy, I haven't wanted to take it off. It is thoughtfully-designed with useful (and fun!) details such as the thumb holes and front pocket. It has quickly become one of my favorite pieces and will be spending very little time in my closet.
